What to wear for fall park photos
Fall color does the heavy lifting, so keep outfits simple: warm neutrals, denim, mustard, rust, forest green, and cream all photograph beautifully against turning leaves. Avoid neon, large logos, and anything that competes with the background.

Shelley Lake Park
The loop trail around the lake is lined with hardwoods that turn reliably each fall. It's an easy, stroller-friendly walk with water views the whole way — great for families with small kids.
Lake Johnson Park
Waterfront portraits and dock shots with fall color along the shoreline, plus wooded trails when you want variety. West Raleigh location keeps it convenient for Cary and Apex families too.
